^ Errmm... Kind of.
In North America, as said before, it isn't very common. Most guys I know would punch another guy if he just got kissed for a greeting.
If he knows the guy, homeboy MIGHT get a handshake or hug if it's one of the long lost chums that left town for college and just came back after graduation to visit family during the holidays. I blame this on everyone considering it *gay* to do anything more then that - and at least growing up, boys (whether they are or not) don't like to be saddled with the "gay" label... so they have to prove how manly they are by not being affectionate.
