It seems to be accepted that the generation now becoming adults is one of the first to not do as well as their parents, where as for a nubmer of generations, there was always an improvement. And no, hard work just doesn't seem to cut it the way it used to. That's why me and mine are choosing lifestyle over money. And while my hubby is self-employed, I'm half self-employed, half working for others...but hope to change that this year and go completely on my own.
