Not ALL Conservatives are as socially conservtive as Harper and his inner circle. Remember, this is just the Reform party under a different name, and there are a lot of rednecks and racists in that woodpile.

Harper is on record as supporting George Bush's social and military agenda. Are you so naive as to believe that if he is elected, he will simply do a 360 degree turn and implement NONE of the policies -- the very few he has bother to articulate that is -- he says he favours?

Make no mistake. Harper is AGAINST nearly all the things that make Canada a socially progressive country. If that is the kind of country you want to live in, so be it. Others see through his "nice guy" charade.
