You're right, but they're in the business to make money. A bar isn't going to keep an alcoholic from stopping in everyday. These places are don't provide a moral compass for their patrons.

And if she wins this lawsuit, then people who kill someone while driving drunk might sue a beer company or a bar for selling them alcohol if they're an alcoholic.
