The 1995 march was sponsered by Farrakhan alone.

The 2005 march was sponsered by a broad coalition of black leaders, including Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Coretta Scott King, Andrew Young, Tavis Smiley, etc.

Huge difference. Of course the opinion piece is not written with the whole truth, but I don't think truth is what the writer had in mind.
