I read Lucky and The Lovely Bones. Most people here would disagree, but I actually enjoyed it.
There's something plain about her writing, but it pulled me in and felt real. I was going to read her new one, but everyone panned it, so I figured I'd wait. I suspect she's one of those writers that overestimates her own abilities when it comes to storytelling and her knowledge of human nature.
