Next time I'm up in Bridgehampton I'll take some pics of LuAnn's house.
She's a real peice of work let me tell you, she comes of sweet as pie on that show and she's really a competitive snippy thing that truly believes that she IS a countess and not just one by marital default. Interesting thing about her, if she think she's prettier than someone else she'll step all over them but if someone is prettier or classier than she thinks she is, she's stuck on them like a puppy in need of a home.
Ever since they had the house built (that she think is on the ocean - keep dreaming honey - flooded farm land is your ocean) she has been trying to get in with the old Southampton money and it's just not going to happen.
Anyway, their first summer at the house it was barely finished construction wise and she saw a few deco antiques from Table D'Art that she thought were a must have for her husband's office. So she talked them into letting her borrow something like 8 pieces of furniture on Friday with the notion that if she were not to purchase something those items would be returned the next day (Saturday).
I was at the party she sponsored on that next day, Saturday night.
Long story short - she never intended to purchase any of the antiques, she told her guests that she traveled Europe to find them and had the shipped back to the states.
The same moving company that dropped them off were instructed to go to her house and not leave until they had all the furniture in the truck.
Now Bridgehampton is a pretty small town and there are many furniture and antique stores lining the streets so it only took about a week before she was black labeled to many of the stores.
