A professional African-American woman is a broker for “celebrity dates,” in Hollywood. She has a big rolodex, connections on both coasts and she uses her residence as a command center. Rich men (who don’t have Hollywood connections) hire her to set them up with female celebrities (actresses and entertainers) who supplement their income. Date fees range from $25,000-$50,000 per date, depending on the popularity of the female celebrity and $5,000-$10,000 for 'introduction fees.' These men are tycoons, CEO’s of conglomerates, and blue-blood royalty. One African-American actress was paid $25,000 to date one of these men; the broker received $5,000 for arranging the date. The man took her to a function, impressing his clients and business associates. This move allowed him to close a multi-million dollar deal.
