Well, pretty much as soon as Kim spouted off about "not believing" in spending a lot of money on clothes, I knew she was a goner. My response to getting the opportunity to wear Badgley Mischka would not be to go on a sanctimonious tangent, but that's just me. Did she think she'd be modeling the Olsen twins' Wal-Mart line?

The homeless shoot, ostensibly an effort on Tyra's part to promote social awareness, just ended up being campy. Not good or fun campy, but insulting and exploitative of those homeless girls. Tyra's comment, in her trademark faux compassion voice, about knowing how it feels to be homeless since she went "undercover" for a day as a homeless person was unbelievably fucking trivializing. Sometimes I wonder if she says things like that for effect.

Fatima seems very critical and nit-picky of the other girls (like Amy) but I'll admit to laughing when she came off the runway and thwapped Marvita in the face. Marvita's insistence that Fatima saw her as competition and was therefore trying to sabotage her was hysterical. I think if somebody had asked me if I felt like less of a woman for having been circumcised I'd be holding a grudge too.
Marvita's picture was meh, and her eyes-to-the-ground runway walk was disastrous, though Lauren's was probably a bit worse.
