Well Matt Damon makes a good Bourne if they hadn't changed the story so much. The only part of the movie that is like the book is the beginning and the fact that he's an undercover agent. There is no mention of Carlos the Jackal which is what the story revolves around. I don't think he was much older in the book but it's been years since I've read it. I mean they've changed everything in the movie, even Marie is German when she's Canadian and works for the Canadian Government in the book. The Bourne Identity is a great book (as well as the 2 other books).
