That's disappointing to hear; I definitely want to see this and generally do enjoy Keira - though by no means is she always at the top of her game. Oh well, I'll wait for the DVD.
Just watched
Lars and the Real Girl here. I don't even quite know what to say about it, lol. I did like it - there was one scene that just made me melt, and Ryan Gosling was terrific in it. I really enjoyed a lot of the secondary/tertiary characters as well. But it's definitely an odd little film.
