You know, the fact that he was raised by a single mother, is of mixed race, wasn't brought up in a wealthy or privileged home...I truly feel that this is one reason why people actually can relate to him more than the typical politician. He wasn't groomed from birth to be President of the United States. Win or lose, I'm really really proud to be an American today and to show the progress that we have made within the last fifty years. It really is an inspiration.
Cali, thanks for all the hard work you've done! I wish I was in the US right now. All I can tell you is that Obama has the young people here in Egypt pumped up! There's Obama 2008 stickers everywhere! Its really created a level of excitement even here.
