The thing about "any given party" made me think of someone from "Any Given Sunday" but no one from that seems to fit the clue about "impish good looks".
Speaking of which, that made me think of Orlando Bloom but I don't think there's any way in hell that Lainey would refer to Three-Whiskers Bloom as "an acclaimed artist".
ETA: CherryDarling, I like the Leo guess (although I love him so I don't want to believe it - but I guess that would fit with the part about "selfish junkie isn't what usually comes to mind").
