What would probably work better for me as a short-term diet would be having something that's about the same size/calorie-count as the cereal (which is quite small/low), but with a mix of protein and carbs, as well as variety. So fresh fruit with cottage cheese, one egg with a slice of whole-grain toast - very small and light, definitely "diet food", but a little more filling and varied.
An even better option would likely be to forget about the two-week thing - eat a little more, give yourself four weeks to lose the weight instead. The weight will still come off, but you'll be more satisifed, less likely to binge or feel fatigued. What's an extra two weeks, really?
