She was born in Rome. She is mostly known as the host of the Italian version of Caiga Quien Caiga (Le Iene). She played in Leonardo Pieraccioni's feature film Il mio West in 1998, as well as in TV series Tequila and Bonetti (2000) and Carabinieri.

She has a son with footballer Simone Inzaghi. She is currently dating Carlo Cudicini. She has presented Grande Fratello, the Italian version of Big Brother, for the past 2 years.
